But is a final four consisting of all the 1-seeds really any better? This tournament honestly kinda sucked this season. I’ve preferred the NIT games a lot more, but maybe that’s just me.

100%. The NIT has been largely competitive. 

The NCAAT hasn't been. From the S16 to F4 there were 4 competitive games. 8 of those games were decided by 7 or more points. 6 were 10+ point beatings. The TV people will love this year's tournament. Fans, not so much. Very chalky and noncompetitive.

Agreed.  You can think they were geniuses in setting seeding, but I doubt that.
