if we win, does JJ burst out of the players tunnel with Stone Cold's music and rip off his suit to reveal a mean green shirt?

Obviously the next move would be to extend a friendly beer to Rodge only to pull it back at the last second and drop him with a stone cold stunner...

They lost to Oregon St around the same time we beat Oregon State this season.  Looks like they are versatile...they can win scoring 60 and holding the opponent in the 50's.  And, they can win by scoring 80 to 100.  Well coached...didn't panic last night when things got tight.  They handled UAB's length ok, but UAB pretty much beat them in all statistical categories.  I think we win this one going away.  We might even see Stone play late in the game!  For us, it comes down to staying out of foul trouble early (especially Mou), not turning over the ball, avoiding the 7 minute scoring drought, and shooting in the 40's.  If we do those things, we are as solid as anyone in this tournament!

NIT - Semifinal

Interesting that they opted for our game as the early start. Gonna be difficult for Irvine fans to watch with a 4 PM tip.

If you watched the game last night....there aren't many of them...any way.

But it's 7pm on the East Coast and 6pm CT= prime time.  Perhaps ESPN wanted the better matchup for this time slot.  It will be on in all the Bars and restaurants.   Lots of National exposure!

I'm going to bet on Loyola Chicago winning the other game so the NIT can get at least one somewhat nearby school to boost attendance at Tinkle Fieldhouse.

But of course every announcer will make it known that however well we have done or do in the NIT that we are losing our coach.

If you have never been, Indy is a great town.

I'd prefer the NIT go back to Madison Square Garden. I feel even for an all-mid major matchup, more casual basketball fans would attend. Especially since the walk-up crowd can actually walk up.

Hopefully Fran Fraschilla will be on the call. He will talk us up as a great job opportunity (conveniently ignoring #Fajitagate).

Yes, but it is in Indianapolis and I am there about once a year for work. Just passing along my personal opinion of the location it is being played.

Do you think he might be open to becoming our AD?  Just in case we had a vacancy.....

I only saw the overtime portion of their vs UAB.

Irvine liked to work in low to their big German center, 7-1, 260.  He is a load.
