How was that not a shooting foul in our last shot?  Those refs should never be allowed to call a game. Complete incompetence.

Then again, we can’t hit our FT’s, dribble into trouble trying to go fast, etc.

Both teams played to lose.  NT played atrocious defense.  Referees were horrible as usual, but I have never seen any official make a call like that at the end of the game.

The refs ruined the game with their excessive traveling calls.   Completely abnormal amount of traveling violations, this can be called on just about every possession.  But most referees knows this ruins the game and only obvious too many steps are ruled traveling; not every shuffling of the feet.

Lampkin went out like a champ, great game.

Free throws lost the game which a familiar refrain with this team.

and 18 of 33 from the line.  Don’t blame the refs when we should have put it away a long time ago.

Refs were completely incompetent, but both teams played with the same calls.  My only problem again is that in the vast majority of instances, refs are not going to call last second fouls unless it particularly egregious.

There's just no reason to be so close to any Troy player on the other side of the court with less than a couple seconds to go. If they want to launch a desperation shot, let them. Poor situational awareness.

Yeah Deck sortof messed that up but she is a great player and I hope she comes back.

We should have played Ross-ball and ran the shot clock down when we had like a 6 point lead with the ball and about 1:20 remaining.   It would have taken at least two possessions away from Troy.

Deck IMO is far from a great player, but she is one of the best on the team.   Alway great effort, but sometimes questionable decisions.  Too many quick threes, at least when Lampkin was in the game and a much better offensive option.

Burton played this game like he wanted an offensive shootout and it cost him. I opined after the last game that I though Brackens was a better player than Johnson.   I was wrong, NT missed Johnson's size and their bigs controlled the boards.

This game was wrongly decided by the officials. Wrongly! No argument.

Hit our free throws and we're talking about our next opponent.

I certainly am not trying to blame her or anybody else. Just an honest mistake and as others have stated, it was a very weak call. I do think there a foul but it certainly wasn't egregious and I would hope a D1 ref wouldn't call something that soft from across the court with time expiring.

Oh, I agree, but those refs should not be allowed back in any court at any level.

One more conference tournament win, one more postseason win, and the Houston job is taken. So I think this program is headed in the right direction.

We definitely have to improve our shooting - from FT and from outside. When we can't score quick, we do not look good on offense.

On the other hand we should of been playing at home! 🤬🤬🤬

Yes, luncheon-gate took away the opportunity to host this game.

Would it have been a different outcome in Denton?

Yep. As much as I love what Burton has done/is doing, we are very sloppy in our play.
