Please send Dr Keller your thoughts about the scheduling conflict. He needs to hear from those of us that actually care about UNT athletics.  I promise you the emails are read and it's time better spent than complaining on GMG.  (Do both!)

I did and got the same lame statement that they gave to the Record Chronicle. Excuses and no accountability. Oh, but they want our teams to do well as long as it doesn't interfere with our teacher's luncheon.

My thoughts are that if a University President cannot do a better job fixing a simple mess like this, he should be removed or step down.  The buck stops with Dr Keller on this one.

We expect better!!

I mentioned it elsewhere but PUBLIC shaming is much better and is something Twitter does better than an email that is forgotten 2 seconds after the auto-reply is sent.

He responded back to me personally. Threw some subtle shade... js... He also reiterated from my email to me that he is FOR athletics and looks forward to supporting our programs.

That still sounds like boilerplate bull.

I don't think so. It came off as the athletic department sat on their hands too long. Instead of ringing the alarms the moment we lost in the AAC tournament (or before)*, it was brought to his attention too late. What too late means, I have no idea.

*should have been brought to his attention the moment we won 20 games.

You are so right! If you can't make better decisions than that you need to go work somewhere else. Some people don't have a brain cell one! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I did and got a response from some underling, thanking me for contacting Pres. Keller and giving me the same lame ass excuse we've been reading. I sent mine to president@unt.edu
