They said they explored alternatives but were unable to find a solution.  Top notch leadership and problem solving right there ladies and gentlemen.  But did they really?

The cover-up is almost always worse than the crime.

Sad that they’ve managed to kill two birds with one stone. In addition to the burden on the team, now there will be a lunch where the feeling of ‘appreciation’ will have taken a large dent.

Also sad, the callousness of Pistol Pete to be in a position to pick up the slack. Don’t they even have luncheons there???

If you don't have enough common sense knowing that there is tournament basketball being played in March, see the past four years and how big this NIT game against Big12 Oklahoma St. at home could have been. Hugh opportunity missed by the athletic department. Paying those that make big money for poor decisions need to go somewhere else to work. Some people need held accountable and fired. I don't give a shit if it's the president of UNT or the athletic director or both. You're hired to make sound athletic and business decisions and you failed miserably! What a cluster fck!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I honestly do not appreciate the staff at North Texas anymore.

IMO UNT is doing everything possible to ensure local kids don’t want to go to UNT. Pretty sad. But hey, they advertise the cafeteria is #1 in the state…

Be honest, they do just fine recruiting kids who have no interest in Athletics.

Maybe if Athletics had the sports teams dress up as furries for one game, or even offer pregame "How to dye your otherwise normal hair an absurd shade of purple or blue" clinic, they could attract more of our eclectic student body to BB or Football.

People say we have a culture problem....we have a this problem. We have an admissions office problem. Frankly, the entire university probably needs a revamping. But the admissions is where I would start.
