It seems like no one cared enough to try to solve the problem. Giving up a home-game advantage in a national tournament should get someone FIRED!

So recently, we made headlines for being one of a few being investigated by the Department of Education Office of Civil Rights and giving up a home Post-season game against a Power conference school. Not the things that make you look good.

This is not the type of decision that needs to have their consultation, but even if it was, a vast majority of them are NT alumni now.  I bet they'd see the value in ensuring both the staff luncheon and home basketball games VS OKSt & Troy all happened.    Maybe I'm wrong though.

Not if they are part of the >90% that don't care about UNT athletics and actually despise its existence.

Yeah, it would be different if there was really no way to rectify the situation but there are several ways it could have been resolved without much additional cost, risk, or effort.  That's what makes this so frustrating.
