This is pretty bad.  We need other AAC teams to be successful in the tourney if we're ever going to become a regular multi-bid conference.  Memphis was definitely missing Tyrese Hunter's outside shooting, as Haggerty was only 1 for 8 from beyond the arc.

Haggerty was a shell of his mid season self the last 2 or 3 weeks. 

Not really glad to seem them lose. Certainly not heartbroken either..

Yes, I'm aware. Outside of that game he's been pretty inefficient of late.

It would have been good for the conference if they won, however they did not look ready to play that game, they looked confused defensively, were out rebounded, and Colorado state did a good job keeping them outside.

They try to out-athlete everybody.   Once you match up with them and frustrate them enough their coaches don't have enough strategy to adjust.
