The one-and-done NCAAT teams don't get much respect.  We have two home NIT games and perhaps more games. I think we get as much or more positive media winning NIT games as we would with a first round loss to a 4-5 seed.   Unless you upset someone in the NCAAT you're considered a nobody.

 Memphis beat us once this year and UAB 3 times. The Blazers won 2 of 3 against UNT. We beat them at home on a last second 3 pointer. Both teams were better than us. We are a one bid conference unless we have a nationally ranked team that loses the conference tournament.

We were a 1 bid league THIS year. In think the conference will be forced to schedule better moving forward.

I am probably wrong but if I had to guess[ I didn't look it up] the last time the AAC received an at large bid was when Cincy and Houston were still in the league.

FAU got an at large bid last year.
