Sure, if they win the NIT.
Dude absolutely disappeared against UAB in the conference semifinals though.

Don't forget the goose egg he put up in our meeting with Memphis, resulting in getting benched midway through the second half.

Not unless he goes for 40+ a night throughout the rest of the NIT run ending with a championship in Indy.

Not even then.

Yeah, for a 1-year guy, he'd really need to do something like this, that would cement his legacy & be talked about for a very long time, in order to make it in.

No 1 and done in the HoF. That privilege should be for more than a 1 season hired gun.  Should include a good ambassador to the school over a period of time. Somebody that has skin in the game.  I would rather give it to Stone. He has been here the whole nine yards, contributed in anyway he could, is a great teammate, cheers from the bench.

just my opinion

If this is your qualifications for the NT HOF, that's just sad.   It would be overrun with JAGs.

I don't know about that.  Jamario's freshman season was HOF worthy.  A lock? I don't know, but I would be okay with it.

I think it's time to think about other honors, and what they mean.  Like, retiring a jersey is an even higher honor than HOF, right? Longevity and brand ambassador should definitely be a big priority there.

The 3-point shot for colleges went in to effect the 1986-1987 season. Now substitute all 3 pointers for 2 pointers and rank him to all guys before 86-87. I'm a "hell no" to an already watered down NT Hall of Fame.

Everyone has an off games in a season.  So, being held down by the best team in the conference is hardly a disqualifier for the HOF.

He is by far, the best offensive player on NT's team and in the top five of the league.

I like everyone else has a problem with these one year hired guns, but that is the norm now.

NT has virtuaLly no standards to get into the HOF.  See Slinker and Dickey plus a host of players who are in and didn't even make first team all conference.  Plus NT inducts why too many, selecting 5 a year is ridiculous.

Wright should get in unless he has another year of eligibility and goes elsewhere.

I agree with the historical low standards and wouldn't be surprised if he gets in. If he wins us another NIT I'd be fine with it. Yes he was #1 on a team full of role players.
