Worth noting, Todd Golden was HC for 3 seasons at San Francisco prior to Florida. He went 22-12, 11-14, and 24-10 in his three seasons leading the Dons, never finished higher than 4th in conference, never made it past the conference semifinals, made 1 NCAA tournament as an at-large where he lost to Murray State.

Just pointing this out considering our recent hiring. I'm skeptical or Robinson's track record but Golden should serve as a reminder that record doesn't always mean a coach isn't capable.

It's really like this in any sports, it takes a lot of factors.

Players, scheduling, coaches, and of course a little bit of luck.

I said major sport. Nobody gives a damn about golf or polo.

We have 16 National Championships in Golf btw

Like I said, you'll most likely go to your grave without ever seeing UNT even play for a national championship in football or men's basketball like every other person who was a UNT fan over the last 100 years.

You come to another school's fan board to gloat about losing a Championship?

You need to seek help!

I promise you I will never be on a UH board ever, national championship or not. My self esteem is just fine.

Speaking of UH basketball. They were ranked at the top of the defensive rankings all year. After watching the final and UH closely for a full game for the first time, they get away with a lot.  Honestly, they are pretty dirty and it is obvious that is his Sampson coaches. A lot of hooking, grabbing, etc. that they disguise to draw fouls, etc.

Our system, on the other hand, was the push behind our success.
