congratulations to Memphis
No better? The AAC is clearly worst. The AAC is worst than the MWC as it has been. The new PAC has 3 teams in the next round of the tournament. Would love to join that conference. -

I was conflicted on Memphis - part of me wanted them to win for the conference's reputation, and part of me wanted them to lose and be humbled since they see themselves as high and mighty over the AAC. I bet their fans are super pissed though... as a 5 seed, they had a chance to make a nice run. -

Memphis is Cooked
Memphis's performance makes it much less likely that an AAC team will get another 5 seed in the near future. -

Memphis had several close games in the AAC, winning by 4 over UNT in Memphis, winning by only 1 point to Tulane in the conference tournament, etc. They are very athletic, but weren't as elite as their record suggested. The loss to Colo St will just continue to expand the thought that the AAC is no better than the MWC/PAC.- 1
