They don't ask the majority of us for money. 

We're not hurting and have given plenty of indications that we should be asked, but I guarantee that no one from the Athletic Department knows my name.  All those fundraising salaries on the Athletic Department P&L should probably start by taking the list of Hub Club seats and googling or searching their names on LinkedIn.  It would at least be directionally accurate for steering them towards whom to ask for donations from.  What's the worst thing that happens? They continue to raise $0 from me?

Maybe we'll leave them money in our estate.  My pride will be dead by then.  There will be no need to feel like someone should at least ask me for money before I give it to them.

Is it necessary to be asked ?  How about just buying season tickets and the required donation that goes with it ?  Here’s a news flash…Your school can use your financial support.  The school in your community can use your support even though you’re not an alum.  Rather than whine that nobody contacts you, write a check and attend home games.

Are we wrong for wanting to know what our money is being spent on?
