Red Wolves can be really good at times. Routed Memphis at Memphis, massive comeback at UAB to win there, lost to Kent State (routed St Bonnie tonight) by one at Kent, beat Akron (13 seed auto bid from MAC) by 5 in OT, lost by 9 at Bama after being tied with 7 minutes left. One the other hand... Lost to Hofstra who finished 10 games out of first in the CAA, lost to Rice who finished 12 games out of the American, and barely escaped Texas-Arlington who finished 9 games out in the Southland. Sun Belt had crazy four way tie for first and we lost four to the other three teams in first and one to Marshall who finished a game out of first. So we can be a buzz saw or a wet noodle depending on the night. -

UC-Riverside were pretty competitive with Santa Clara till halftime, but then the Broncos annihilated them. -

Hodge a top replacement candidate at WVU
I see a pretty generic list of top HCs from mid majors, but nothing that confirms who the WVU AD is actually looking at. Just my 0.02, but I don't read anything on here that tells me Hodge is a top candidate for this job. Just who the media is eyeballing. Definitely on people's radar, but he still needs some big post season wins.- 2

Hodge a top replacement candidate at WVU
North Texas head coach Ross Hodge Age: 44 Hodge has been the head coach for the Mean Green since 2023 and has amassed a 43-23 record during that time with the program. Prior to that Hodge spent six seasons on the staff there as the associate head coach and also had been an assistant at Arkansas State, Colorado State and Southern Mississippi. He also previously served as the head coach at both Paris JC and Midland College where he had a combined 146-24 record in his five seasons and was the NJCAA runner up in 2010-11.
