I was poking around the season ticket renewal website and stumbled across my MGSF ranking.  I'm not trying to flex that I'm #747 on the rankings.  I'm sure many of you here are way higher than me on this list because when I go to bowl or away games and buy tickets through the school, I am never that close. 

I think it's pretty sad that I've only been a season ticket holder for 10 years and I'm that high on the list.  But what is even sadder is that our university is one of the largest in the state, has been around for 135 years, and only has 7,279 members in the MGSF.  I wish we had more school spirit. 😢

Does anyone else care to share their ranking?  I'd be curious to see where we are as an online community.

      Report: Ross Hodge emerges as 'serious candidate' for West Virginia job

      The West Virginia Mountaineers are on the search for their fourth head basketball coach in as many seasons. Now, according to a report by Jon Rothstein, North Texas Mean Green head coach Ross Hodge has emerged as a serious candidate for the job. At this point, nothing is final in the coaching search. However, West Virginia athletic director Wren Baker does have a familiarity with Ross Hodge. The pair worked together at North Texas, where Baker worked before getting to Morgantown. This season, in particular, has been a good one for North Texas. The Mean Green are currently in the NIT semifinals, having already won three games in that tournament. This season, Hodge has led North Texas to a 27-8 record and a 14-4 record in AAC play, which was second place in the regular season standings.       Sports|College Texas college forced to reschedule basketball game due to ‘staff luncheon’ Quite the pricey meal. By Michael Shapiro, Sports ReporterMarch 25, 2025 North Texas University narrowly missed the 2025 men's NCAA tournament, but the Mean Green still enjoyed playing in front of its home fans in Denton in a pair of NIT wins over the last week. A strange double booking cost UNT a chance from hosting a third NIT game at its home arena. UNT was slated to host Oklahoma State on Wednesday with a spot in the tournament semifinals—and a trip to Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis—on the line. Fans in Denton won't be able to watch the contest live. Per Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle, UNT's home venue is "booked for a staff appreciation lunch on Wednesday that will require the court to be removed from the venue." Vito added the game can not be rescheduled and still held in Denton due to a "dance/drill team competition" beginning Friday. Scheduling conflicts at UNT's home arena aren't exactly uncommon. The school reportedly had to reschedule several events last week to accommodate the first and second rounds of the NIT games, though the same changes weren't made for the quarterfinals due to a "long-standing contract with the American Dance/Drill Team Nationals."
