I noticed that too.  But I like what I see.  He may have to be the type that rolls out of the pocket to get a clear look, but I think he's got the wheels for that too.  If he is that type, I hope we have an O-line that isn't prone to holding penalties. 😬

His release is as quick as I've seen.....and that goes back to the Steve Ramsey days. He has great arm strength, and the trajectory is almost flat. He's short but I suspect that he is used to compensating for that. His quick release will make it hard for DLs to time their attempts to swat the ball down. What counts the most is how confident he is in leading the team....and his ability to ignore mistakes.

He’s inspiring to watch.  Probably my favorite “undersized” QB going into a season…ever.  Wishing him all the best as he strives to lead our team.
