I wish they'd announce if we play ASU on Saturday or Sunday, but I guess that won't be until tomorrow.

I hear you...but nah. I want to maximize the potential fun in this bracket with a former Sun Belt rival and SMU

Much rather get OKst or even UNI at home than have to travel to SMU. But we need to worry about running ark st off the 3 point line.

Attendance 2138.

Hopefully we can get over 3K for ASU.

That’s surprising.  I thought it looked much fuller on TV.

Arkie State is gonna be tough. They are arguably the best 3 seed in the tournament and should be higher.

gotta watch how Atin handles teams that are more physical with him.

if we can get 10-15 from Atin and Sissoko (each) we should go a long way

This Furman team regularly scored over 80 and 90 points, even eclipsing 100 a few times.

64 is 13 below their season average, which begs the question:

How in the world did UNC Greensboro hold Furman to 50?!?  Even KU couldn't get them down that low.

The supporters section at FCD has an entire drum and horn cadence and sign that pumps Fire Nico every game. Unlike in downtown Dallas the stadium gleefully sings along without Guido dragging anyone out. That team just needs to embrace it at this point and make it a rallying cry.

Great job tonight Maniacs, UNT Cheer and Spirit Dancers.

Go Mean Green!!!!!

There were easily 4,000 in the Pit. That reported number is flat wrong. Trust me I literally used to be responsible for attendance counts for the games back in the day when I worked there.

To the game. Shout out to the Furman fans that made the trip. Respectable showing. Was impressed with their catch and shoot 3 pt shooting - especially early. They move the ball very well and if you get caught sleeping or a step behind, those dudes were ready to fire it up. Fun team to watch.

Great 2nd half by the Mean Green! Floyd played great tonight. Walker and Sissoko both played really well defensively for us. Walker made some great hustle plays. Loved the overall 2nd half intensity. Great basketball atmosphere in the Pit tonight. Glad the crowd got into it. Let’s get ready for a war with Arkansas State this weekend.

Lets win the whole damned thing again!

This would be so great.  Moulaye’s chance to prove he is indeed the better big over Abou.   And pick up another W over OKSt at the Super Pit.

Would be a beautiful way for a college career to end. Back where it started where you lost your job.

Ousmane hasn't changed in the foul department. In their Big 12 tourney loss, he fouled out in 9 minutes.

I'm kinda hoping for Oklahoma State at our place.

Likely won't happen as I have heard there is a schedule conflict with the Super Pit. 😔
