It may be, but it's also somewhat valid when watching first round NIT games through the years.  A bunch of empty seats almost everywhere.  Usually by the second round crowds start really picking up, but the 1st round games are normally played before unfilled gyms.

Yeah, I remember LSU having plenty of empty seats last year.  At least on TV it did not look like one of their better crowds.

I have to admit that this sketch is honestly the first thing that comes to mind whenever I see references to Furman.  That's more a reflection on my Chappelle's Show obsession than a dig at Furman . . . which I assume is not affiliated with Mark Fuhrman.

You can help by buying tickets for students. I am sure you have received as many emails seeking $15 for Student Tickets as I have.

I actually wondered if I had enough money to buy out the tickets for the student section and they didn't use them, does that go to the school? I assume so. 🤔

Furman 23 ---------- NT 22

7:51 to go

Paladins seemingly knocking down treys all over the place on us.  We're gonna have to figure this out.

Ngl #7 on a quick google search looks like this year is his first playing d1 as a grad student? He is 15 point average on 40% 3 point shooting. His 3 pt shot and release is really nice to watch... Hope they lose obviously, just intrigued

And we’re having issues with our own offense again 😔

We're shooting over 60% from the floor and losing.  The offense is not our issue right now.

Nope.  They’re just white hot (50%) from deep.

Also, Atin Wright’s achilles heel is his height.  Bigger guards run him off of his 3-point attempts and shoot over him on the defensive end.

Furman 34 ---------- NT 32

Halftime

Hodge and staff are gonna have to figure out a way to slow down their offense, or this is gonna be dicey.

Paladins are holy warriors. They can sense evil and cast clerical spells beginning at second level.

They have no powers suitable for fighting the righteous, which is why they're losing tonight.

NT 45 ---------- Furman 38

15:39 to go

Currently 13-4 us in the second half.  Need to keep this up and try and put them away by the 10 minute mark if we can.
