So what is a Paladin?  Never heard that as a team name before.  Has UNT ever played a team called Paladin?  Odd.

Tell me you never played D&D as a kid without telling me you never played D&D as a kid.

based on this topic, i can't tell if the board has been active for 15 days or 15 years... 5 page topic, 4 pages devoted to the disagreement of their name

Yes, their board goes off course about half way thru the tread, debating if their alternate uniforms with "Dins" on the front is acceptable.   Several don't like the 'Dins nickname and debate about using it ensues.

Our long lost relatives?  Sounds eerily familiar.

Story goes that back when the school was still affiliated with the Baptist Church they had a president who had been a bomber pilot and at halftime would lead the cheer "FU once, FU twice, FU all the time". An older lady called hime to express her concern that the cheer had vulgar undertones. He kept acting like he had no idea what she was talking about and basically forced her to plainly state what she thought was implied. He replied "Oh madam, I'm shocked, that never once occurred to me." 🙂

Only other thing I know about them is my cousin's husband went to The Citadel and he hates them which is a big plus in my book. He's a roided up dude who looks like a 5'6" fire hydrant.

Terrible excuse.

It may be, but it's also somewhat valid when watching first round NIT games through the years.  A bunch of empty seats almost everywhere.  Usually by the second round crowds start really picking up, but the 1st round games are normally played before unfilled gyms.

Good thing is we're not the middle of Spring Break so hopefully students help fill the Pit.

You can help by buying tickets for students. I am sure you have received as many emails seeking $15 for Student Tickets as I have.

How about this one...a family that just got done shelling out hundreds of dollars to watch our team in the AAC Tournament is now being asked to turn around a shell out at least a hundred bucks less than a week later just to get in the door.

The alternative is that we never do anything of note and no one ever asks anything of you.
