UAB vs Memphis today at 3p

I don’t know who I’m pulling for.  
 

If Memphis loses we’re closer to the #1 seed in the conference tourney and regular season title.*

If Memphis wins we get sole possession of 2nd place in the conference.*
 

 

*Assuming we take care of our business between now and Dickies Arena

I am thinking pull for UAB simply to boost my confidence that we can also beat Memphis.  Also I am hoping for a Memphis end of year collapse repeat .

I'm pulling for UAB because I'm still holding out hope we can get the 1 seed. Facing the 4 seed, who right now is Tulane or could be FAU, would be huge. Would much rather let UAB/Memphis take each other down if that ends up being the 2-3 match-up.

Tigers win after scoring over 50 points in the 2H.  Overcame a halftime deficit.

I just think that Memphis has some kind of matchup edge over UAB.  They don't seem to be bothered by UAB's athleticism the same we are.

That's okay, in a way, because I think we are more closely in the mold of the two teams that beat Memphis: Temple and Wichita State.
