Did the game start several hours late? I thought it was on ESPN+ at 11:00. Was looking for it On Replay and it was still live with about 5 minutes to go in regulation time. Watched the rest of it...there was every reason for the Mean Green Women to lose this game from that point on, but they are a resiliant bunch. No matter how bad the start, poor free throw shooting, bigs fouling out, or ugly play, more often than not they find a way to win at the end.

Going to be an interesting few weeks before tournament time...GMG

The men's game tomorrow @USF starts at 11:00am CT on ESPN-U

Burton now has two of the program's five 20-win seasons.

Let's keep this going. I want a long streak of seasons where BOTH men and women win 20+ games.

I saw most of the game. First half was poor for both teams. NT turned the ball over, made stupid mistakes ..have to call it out. It was bad at times. 2nd half they came alive. Made 3s when they needed to. EC had chance to win the game twice but could not put it away. Defense came up big.

As Z said above, a win is a win. But they will need to clean that up to win again. And looking at the schedule, the ladies lave legit change to win out. 23 regular season wins I think .. and that is special.

Winning out is definitely a good possibility considering how poor Charlotte, UAB, and Rice have performed this year. Then you'd just need one postseason victory to surpass last year's record win total.

Women’s team has heart for days . In double OT , we didn’t have Johnson and also lost Lampkin midway through 2 OT as she also fouled out.

This team has made a big fan out of me.

The ladies can ball and Burton can coach/recruit. They are fun to watch and don't quit.

The really amazing thing about this group is three key seniors/transfers that were counted on to produce this year have been out all season with injuries.

Sham Duncan; 5' 11" guard: returning starter and best perimeter defender

Amaya Brannon; 5' 11" guard: key transfer from LA Tech.

Adhel Tac; 6' 0" post: key transfer from UTEP
