Stone is also a huge emotional impact on this team. Dude is totally engaged and that kind of morale, spirit building has a place.
I don’t care whether you’re on the court or the bench, emotion has influence. All great teams need some energy peeps.

I know we all wanted Stone to be the next DJ Draper. He was highly touted out of HS with two rings. The fact that he didn't score much when he was getting more minutes doesn't bother me. I'm a big fan of UNT basketball and our scheme. If you cannot see Stone's impact on the defensive side of the ball, you just simply don't understand what we do. Stone is an impact player and the fact that he is the winningest Eagle of all time might not show up on the stat sheet--but he gets a lot of credit for those wins by what he does on a daily basis. I've heard what Ross Hodge says about him, and I think its great that he's the last true kid to come in here and be committed to us. He's a unicorn...and those are magnificent and amazing. He may be the last one ever to wear our jersey this perfectly.
