Shockers with some great momentum right now.  fourth consecutive win.

Would like to see more of them with my own eyes to understand what they bring to the table.

One of the things I love about CBB! All these storylines emerging as we approach postseason play.

Temple, now Shockers.

The Roundhouse is not an easy place to get a W. Proud of our guys a couple of weeks back getting that clutch win in Wichita. They also love to play close games and they’ve won 2 recently against the Runners and Tigers. They’re figuring some things out at the right time.

Maybe They should chill on the “we’re just way too good for this conference”talk. Their fans are annoying

Memphis, like Temple, are both full of elite athletes.  But both are also light in running coached plays. A Temple fan said “it’s street ball, no coaching needed”.

Fun history with Temple:

They won the first NIT championship, which was founded in 1938 and is one year older than the NCAA.  It wasn't until the 1950s that the NCAA overtook the NIT as the premier tournament/national championship.

WIKI says, Temple is 1 of 4 programs to appear over thirty times in the NCAA and never reach the Final.  6th all-time winningest D1 program, over 2000 wins.

John Chaney is spinning like a top at this moment.

WSU is better than their record indicates.

3rd option:  sometimes games like this just happen.  See UNT vs UTSA…and countless other examples from around college basketball.

Road conference games are tough (Memphis at Wichita St) ... that's why a close, 6-point victory at Rice doesn't bother me at all.

When on the road, just figure out a way to win 🙂
