Go to meangreensports.com, women’s basketball page and click on the game notes for this game. That is where I got it. Sorry for passing along bad information. Another example of the AD not doing their job.

Those game notes have been a game behind with TV/Broadcasters etc for a while now, but that doesn't fall on Jared at all. That falls on the SID or whoever helps them in writing the game notes and press releases.

So, Jared couldn't influence the SID or whomever helps write the game notes and press releases?

Does the SID not report to the AD, who oversees the whole department?

The excuse making for the AD is getting old.

I mean, technically it does fall under the AD, but he probably isn't monitoring this level of detail every single game.

Point it out to him, let him go the appropriate people to fix/adjust, and then move on.

He should have people in place to monitor that such as department supervisors. That's why companies have various levels of command. I doubt the AD is any different. Somebody within wasn't doing their job properly. IMO it's just a small example of a bigger issue that our AD is not being ran properly and doesn't have the right people in place.

NT can and should improve their internet game presentation.

However, I wonder if any of you bother to compare the NT product to other like school broadcasts.  Some schools put out awful products, both in terms of the video and more often the announcing team.  Watching some away games with their sub-par announcers is a challenge.

Even the ESPN broadcasting team is IMO often terrible.  Telling stories and touting other games and too often not even acknowledging the plays on the court.

I don't give a damn about the SEC schedule or some other tale that does not involve the game they are supposed to be working on.  I know part of their job is to hype other broadcasts, but it should never be to the detriment of not providing the basics of the current game.

Layer and layers of checking.  I've seen it.  I've worked corporate for F100 company.

And shit still slips through.

Yeah they're still accountable.  But the magnifying glass that some of y'all (not necessarily you, GMGDallas) point at our AD, without fail on detail after detail, seems kinda wild.

My only complaint about our production is the crowd noise. I wish we'd turn the crowd mics up.

I definitely commend our commentators, especially Youmans. I think he does a great job calling a neutral-sided game. Mark Followill is a great UNT grad to look up to who does the same.

There's always a risk stuff will fall through. Fans on here want the AD to be more productive and until that happens, people will focus on the small details as examples of a larger problem.
