Well, I definitely recognize Tony Worrell and those ears 😉

PS: I just looked to see what he is up to today. I didn't realize that he passed away in 2015 at the age of 49. Very sad.

I don’t know Rick.  That's a very minimal drawing.  Maybe if you could include the names of the players/coaches as they appear on the shirt.   J

Today we honor our past.  Many of the characters on this T shirt became life long acquaintances of mine after their historic first-ever run to the Big Dance in ‘88 in Salt Lake.  For them, and those who came before and after, we never forget you guys and your accomplishments.  GMG!

Rick

How is losing to North Carolina in the first round going on a historic run?

This ain't the flex you think it is.

UNT will never play for a national championship In any revenue sport.

Phi Slamma Jamma is a legendary college basketball team with multiple NBA hall of farmers.

The 1987-1988 NTSU basketball team is only remembered by a handful of people on this site.

88 is revered as the first.

Like think about it for you, your first pegging. I'm sure you still hold it dear to your heart.

I just don’t understand this guy.  He clearly doesn’t like North Texas ( I understand he went to school at NT once and left for some reason).  North Texas is not in the same conference as Houston.  I don’t know that Houston is scheduled in forever as an out of conference opponent.  We don’t even have common opponents in FB, MBB or WBB.  Yet he is always here.  I wish I monitored my bank statement as closely as he monitors GOMEANGREEN.com

A 2nd round exit on a buzzer beater is a disappointing season for us but UNT held a parade and a banner ceremony for getting blown out by Villanova in their only 2nd round appearance ever.
