Makes about as much sense as exempting tips.  That is an attempt to get votes from people who depend on tip income and the other is to get Georgia votes from Univ. of Georgia fans.

All well and good till someone figures out that others will have to make up those taxes out of their pockets.

So players can make more than coaches and have their room and board also covered, yet they should not pay taxes, and we will continue to tax the coach's salaries? It's an idiotic idea.

If so, I will discuss with my employer changing to a NIL arrangement.  I could always sign up for an online class and claim to be a pickleball player for SmallTown Community College.

If NIL isn’t taxable, then wouldn’t social media “influencers” also be eligible? Literally all they do is sell their NIL.

      IDEA for Mosely and Co, because desperate times call for desperate measures: Get one of your big dogs - hell, Jared should do it because it would be 🔥 - put together a promotion for a specific 1 or 2 groups at a time, then personally go to their door, knock on it and introduce yourself. Extend the invite to the game. Bring them promo cards that, when redeemed at the event, are good for something at NY Sub Hub (or, similar). These groups and the people that are leading them are probably just glossing over the typical ads you are blasting out to campus. Get in their face, shake their hand, and introduce yourself. Tell them about the home winning percentage. Just another idea. Carry on.

      @MeanGreenTexan Well stated. I didn't hate the halftime show, but I will also say that I am not a fan of current rap and that genre of music. I also was never a fan of Springsteen. I was looking back through the performers from past halftime shows trying to decide how I would rate them, or pick a top ten. My obvious #1 was Prince, but I was a huge fan of his, but know people that didn't like him. After Prince, I had a hard time putting them in any order and found most forgettable. I remember people being critical of Bruno Mars and excited about the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I thought Mars was great and RHC was the meh part. I'm a Lenny Kravitz fan, but totally forgot he was part of the Katy Perry halftime show, because I wasn't a fan of her or the "dancing sharks" and tuned it out. I liked Justin Timberlake in '18 and Tom Petty in '08, but don't recall anything really memorable about either performances. My point in all of that is the like or dislike has nothing to do with race, as CBL intimated, and more about musical preference. Then again, will any of us really remember this a year of two from now, or have to look up a list of halftime performers to jog our memory like I did. My biggest disappointment? Janet's boob. Much uglier than I had envisioned.
