In the last few games I also feel like we have lost our confidence in our shooting. We are trying to go down low every possession. Neither Wright or Jossell have been shooting much.

Not a single pass to get a good look at a three ? Bad ending and not a good attempt to try and make a last shot. If we had a decent offense this team would be dangerous but …

I wish we had a better final possession there (that was pretty bad), but otherwise I can't complain much.  I figured this was a tossup game and that's what it turned into.  This time we just didn't hit the shot at the end (unlike last time)

We did. I can live with this one much more than the UTSA fiasco.

But on that last possession, guard play/decision making reared its ugly head again. Something to keep an eye on.

Losing isn't necessarily the problem. It's how we lost. 15 turnovers, 7 shots blocked, and an atrocious final possession. Play a clean game and get off a legit shot at the end and you still lose? It is what it is. Hodge got a free chance to draw something up and that's the best we could do?

The plan at the end was clearly to get it to Wright, once he was unable to get open there was no backup.

Just an unbelievable game in an unbelievable series.  Going back to Grant, these Andy Kennedy vs UNT games are heavy.  It feels like so much weighs on every single possession, much moreso than pretty much any other program we have been battling the last 6-ish years.

Frustrating if we want better seeding, but I think in the grand scheme of things, this upcoming tournament won't see much of a difference.  You're going to see the same 3 teams (Tigers, Blazers, Eagles) slugging it out and clinging for dear life, plus one random fourth program making a fun postseason run.

I am concerned coaches are figuring us out, but it's not like any other program is establishing a level of separation that is intimidating, either.  We can still beat UAB in a third round.  We can still beat Tigers in a second round.

oh I agree...awful end to the game.

but at the same time Jasper Floyd was the only reason we're in this game to begin with.
