I've reached out to over ten people who normally don't attend the games and encouraged them to come Saturday. They didn't know about the tailgate activities, and some may bring their kids. Sometimes people just need a little nudge to motivate them to attend. I hope we will have multiple gates and ticket windows open. It would be nice to have more than two concession stands open as well. Don't give people who show up for the first time a reason to complain. Make it a great experience and maybe they will come back. GMG!

I wonder why they didn't know. Honestly, I wouldn't have known if I didn't go to the last 2 games, but the email just came out about it this week I think. Seems we should be doing more here!

He sits so cozy courtside and doesn’t ever talk to anyone during the games. What does he do again? We the people are the driving force behind our basketball programs. I suspect one is the tv/radio broadcast start time and other is the expected kickoff or tip time.

It's like going to a movie theater for a posted 3:30 movie, but that is when the previews and commercials start; the movie doesn't begin until 3:45.

They wouldn’t hire a true UNT fan. It’s just a job and a stepping stone for most all of them.

That's one of the things that impressed the hell out of me with Wren Baker. A few years back -- early in the season cuz it was HOT -- we were having our usual football tailgate on the grass at the end of the golf practice facility's nets and who shows up to chat for a little bit and see how we're doing? Wren. Then he moved on over to the next tailgate. That went a long way with us!

Not a bad crowd. Could use a few hundred more students. Hopefully next year they really show up and check tickets to pack them and the band all on one side in the arena. To really get loud.
