Honestly, I'd significantly increase his incentives and leave base alone. The thing here is that he got left at the alter last season and had to rebuild almost the whole thing. He went heavy seniors. That's concerning. Just because he did an entire rebuild once with the portal doesn't mean that's an efficient and consistent business model. Because I don't believe it is. I think you can patchwork with 1 year guys, but the nucleus has to be 2 year guys in hopes to run it back while patchworking with 1 year guys again. -

Hodge has already proven to be a more consistent winner than Seth ever was. Seth rode a gamble on an undersized, but high performing, kid to a couple of good seasons. Hodge has continued (or possibly even elevated) his success from last year with almost an entirely different roster in the NIL era.- 2
