If that happens it will cause a major firestorm as the ACC will fall apart.  Florida State will bail next.

I am sure that Clemson would soon follow. If that were to happen, I would think that if Stanford and Cal, if the BIG 10 didn't offer, would consider leaving for the Big 12.

My memory's starting to get a little hazy on this, but didn't the Big 12 already tell Stanford and Cal "no"?  Regardless, as long as the ACC's exit fees are in place, it's going to be borderline impossible to leave; and the financials of leaving for the Big 12 don't make sense.
