It's deeper. I think Penny sucks. He's either elementary between in his ears in scheme/philosophy/sets OR he simply thinks he can roll the ball out and his team just out athlete the in-league competition. Since we have seen them struggle, I have to believe it's the former. -

They did the same last season. Seems their guys, even though it's a new group, don't take the AAC seriously. They got the crowd going tonight after that 8-0 run in the 2nd half but they won't get that benefit on the road. It's a long season. You really have to dig deep to get up and play hard every game, especially when the pundits say you're already penciled in to play in March. -

If you watched today's game, Memphis hardly looked in command (IMO) until very late. They still face UAB (twice), get Temple again at home. Shockers might be looking for revenge in round 2 after how they let this go. Tigers are riding a slippery slope to the tournament.- 1
