They beat Baylor in Waco this afternoon.  That is their third win in a row in Waco.  They won't play us anymore, but I would love a shot at them.

I don't have animosity towards Benford, I honestly think he was trying while at UNT, just couldn't get it done. The administration that couldn't see it was bad news after 1 season on the other hand...

Yeah unfortunately TCU won't play us in anything unless they have to - like a postseason tournament.

Yes, season ticket holders could tell 3 games into his first season he was clueless about player rotation and strategy.  

Season tickets probably dropped by 50% during his 5 years.  Wren came in as AD before Benford's fifth season.  But he wouldn't fire him either, and even more fans left never to return.  Poor AD decisions all around.

Yep. 

I do give WB credit for cultivating the donor class and other avenue of funding to get the IPF built. I also credit Wren for narrowing in on Littrell and bringing him in to stabilize our football program. Most of all, I give Wren credit for making arguably the best athletics hire in UNT history, GM. 

Outside of the big picture stuff that Wren did have success at in large part, he sucked in the mirco parts of his job and the day-to-day stuff that presents.
