Honestly terrible for UNT. They are going to be a 2-3 bid basketball league every single year. Yet again, opportunity missed.

Oh but west coast and travel and late nights or something. People are so short sighted. This is/was a huge opportunity for us to be proactive and take a small step up before being left behind since we know Memphis/Tulane want out of the AAC. Oh well. Can't say I'm surprised.

If we didn't openly pursue, I am going to be very frustrated. I would like answers.

The PAC ? will be just another "G" conference because they still have no media deal in place.  I question the stability of their future.

Regarding us, for those that want answers as to why we weren't proactive in going after membership in this conference, where do you suggest the report $27 million dollar AAC exit fee was going to come from?

Yes, plant in the east with the Academies and emerging programs including JMU. Tulane and South Florida could be waiting on the ACC for another 5 years.

A silver lining is that this most likely blocks UTSA out of PAC movement should their new media deal be sweet. We’re attached to the Runners for now and I don’t mind because I don’t like.

Win some championships. Rock our basketball culture. Ready for the future earthquake that ultimately aligns us with Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, K State, Houston and more.

I would love to compete against those PAC 12 basketball programs now, but future vision is critical too and I sense a regionalization coming down the line. Cut costs to pay more of the players you want.
