I have a general dislike of Notre Dame football, which started when I was a kiddo.

Wish they could both lose, but considering my recently retired boss was an Ohio St grad and his phone ring tone is their blasted fight song, I pray Notre Dame finds a way to pull off the upset.

I’ll probably find myself hoping ND wins.  I at least like Marcus Freeman.

Wonder if they would be the first national champion to lose to a “G5” or equivalent?

Notre Dame hasn't won since I was a kid.  Oho State has a title from a decade ago, and another about a decade before that.  My tiebreaker in rooting interest when I don't particularly care is to pull for the team who hasn't won in longer.

 

Wake up the echoes.

Same. If only for Freeman because both fanbases are only passed in insufferability by A&M.

I normally would root for the team that defeated t.u., however, the Buckeyes are close to the dongwhorns in being the richest programs (or at least used to be) so I hope Notre Dame wins.

I turned it off at the half. It seemed over, and I just could not get into it to begin with.

Notre Dame gave it a real run late, but they dug too big hole.

It's just no fun watching the same 5 or so teams every year. Give us some true football parity so we can be excited again.

It's like watching the chiefs or patriots dynasty. Got boring pretty quick
