I'm sure technology exists to plot address locations on a zoomable map.

Plot current football and/or basketball season ticket holder's general address locations on a map.

Then also plot alumni locations on a separate map.

The same for current students  locations.

Let's see what geographic "hot" zones our fans, alums, and students reside.  Then tailor marketing to the hot and cold zones.

As an example...

That's actually pretty easy to GeoCode, with the data provided in Table Format, did it for 60,000 Voters during my last campaign so I knew which houses to canvas. Just find a poor GIS Student looking for a little $$$ and produce a simple map or even web map

Most NT students today are... well, not as dedicated... which is why only 200 at most show up to regular games, more at bigger-name games.

I think that's the whole complaint. We need fans that love their school enough that they show up because North Texas is playing. Period.

Sign of the times.  I see most, not all, but most, only show loyalty to themselves.

Use to always go to BB games when I was a student....not much going on in Denton at that time and had a great BB Coach...Bill Blakeley

It's kind of funny. Back then the student side was packed and nobody from Denton showed up on the press row side. Now it's just the opposite. I remember the Dorm associations and greeks going to the games. Good times.

You look at the winners of the past 12 years and see Baylor, Minnesota, Stanford, TCU, George Washington, Texas, Penn State, Memphis, Xavier, and Seton Hall i

😂 All those schools you mentioned have significantly more football accomplishments than UNT and frequent (sometimes deep) entries into NCAA tournament.  It is just a bad comparison.  You can expect to microwave fan support on a level with those schools from one NIT title which at best (perception wise) makes you no better than 30-20th basketball team that year with your stars and coach leaving the team before the next season.

I make 4 out of 6 Saturday Football games a season.  I like being outside in good weather.  I don’t live in Denton and the last thing I want to do after work is drive for an hour in rush hour traffic to get to a volleyball or basketball game.  I suspect the average alumni that doesn’t live in Denton or border city feels the same way.

I made a home game the year they won the NIT and preceding season.  The SuperPit needs work, concessions food wasn’t good with long lines to get it.  I guarantee the fan experiences at the home basketball arenas of the teams you mentioned aren’t like that.
