I know we're all sick of moral victories, but this is probably the best news UNT Athletics has had when it's come to TV ratings before, and the team represented us well. Plus, Mestemaker's performance has overshadowed TXST's win.

28+ thousand attended. I know TSU out numbered NT fans but was pleasantly surprised by all the green I saw around me. One day we will win a bowl game.

If I told our fans 5 years ago we would have 1.7 million viewers watching a NT vs TSU game on TV.....

This is why we stay in FBS regardless.

A couple of the FCS playoff games barely eclipsed 200k
A couple of them also eclipsed 2 mil

If you can perennially compete for FCS championships, you can feel pretty good about doing better than these lower FBS bowls.

And nonetheless, James Madison a team that played in the most watched FCS Championship Game joined an FBS conference.
