I used to think that all things equal, we would be on SMU's level....but everything changed when money could buy success. And they have the money. Pretty simple.

They got a few rich people that can put them on par with big programs. We don't.

In today's world, there is an amount of money that can overcome all the substance that it used to take. 

We need to move on...

Let them buy it all.

Many people on this board, constantly talk about competing with SMU. We should also pay attention to what TCU and other programs are doing, so we have a bar to set for ourselves. Ignoring the competition, gets us where we are now.

A guy from Southlake that loved Todd Dodge, hated that he left SLC for a place with less resources and facilities at UNT, then saw him fail at a colossal fashion here…then rubs SMUs wealth and success in our faces on a board that will tolerate anything to support clicks, which is very North Texas…
