@HouCat, question about Bobcat Ballpark.  Can you provide some details on the facility?  Seating capacity? Age/when built? Cost? How much are single game and season tickets?  Do you all sell a lot of season tickets?  Add anything else you think would be relevant.  Many on here think baseball is a revenue drain, but I would love to see some actual numbers.  Thanks in advance for any information  you can provide.

Actually found some information here:

Really nice looking facility outside of the brown turf/fake dirt.

Great questions, unfortunately I haven’t  been to a baseball game in years so I’m not much help. I live 3 hours away and football is about the only thing I make it back for but I know we’ve done some nice renovations.

Edit: it looks like ya’ll found some links online

I'd much rather a $10 million baseball complex than a new $50 million basketball arena that likely won't boost attendance. At least with baseball we can duplicate basketball attendance numbers in the spring and put eyes on the school year round. DBU plays LSU at the College Baseball Series in February at Globe Life Field in Arlington. OU, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Texas, and a plethora of big brands will be competing in the same series. Another school competing? Texas State. Would be nice to be lumped in with those schools in a revenue sport.

Exactly.   More fans on campus year-round should be the goal.
