This seems thrown together at the last minute.  

This promotion has great potential if promoted correctly.

* Throwback uniforms

* Encourage people to dress in their best "70's clothing".

* All music during the games has to be from the 70's.

* Roller skate dancers

* Cheerleaders dressed in 70's gear.

* Pre-game disco party.

Go all out and make this an annual event.  Award a prize the the student group with highest participation/best outfits/70's dance contest, etc.

That would take some pre-planning and we don't do that at UNT. Are the students even back yet?

This could be a great promotion if they would go all out and it wouldn't cost a lot to do this.  Just some effort and coordination with the spirit groups, pep band and campus organization.

I would surely hope they would hype this up more than they have. Be a shame if they did this on 48 hour notice and the stands were empty.
