Seems they're being reasonably intelligent, though. Poffenbarger's market and year ago was probably much higher than it is now after sitting on the bench a year. People want the shiny new toy.

Same with Chandler Rogers. Whoever gets him will have a competent QB and I'd guess he'll cost less than he did a year ago since he's been sitting.

Regarding some collective donor being pissed Poffenberger isn't starting next year, that's your gamble when you donate to a collective.  I pray that they aren't being promised  a starting job as it should always go to the most talented, deserving young man.

I believe that that is just what happened at the end of fall practice when Coach M. installed Mestemaker as #2 in the QB lineup. And look how that turned out.
