We're about to find out how good of a quarterback whisperer Eric Morris. No experienced QB at the helm and a walk-on true freshman that didn't even play QB in high school instead.

18 year old, no college experience vs 25 year old Tx St 7-year college QB.  Lose by 2 points is not bad.

I was super impressed with Mestenmaker today. Throws a good ball, maneuvered in the pocket well, and knew where to go with the ball.  Clearly understood the offense. I wouldn't be mad if he was starting for us next fall.
