I wonder if he is watching the bowl game on TV or even if he’s planning on attending ?  In not small way he is responsible (good or bad) for our 6-6 record.  I hope we are a pleasant enough memory he can at least tune in.

He has no current connection to us. Since his Dad is a coach at Texas State I would imagine that he will be supporting  him. Maybe he will be on their sideline.

Since his father is a coach at Texas State, there's a good chance he'll be watching and rooting against the Green and White.

Wonder if we weren't playing his Dad's team if he would have played in the Bowl Game 👀

He would not. Virginia didn't outbid UCF, Memphis and Oklahoma State to watch him get hurt playing around with his ex.

If I’m one of the seniors (Rod Brown, Texada, Duncan, etc) I wouldn’t want him on our sideline.

In the portal/NIL era, I don't think players have this mindset.  At least, not as much.

They fought together on the same team for most of the season, have that football bond, but probably know the bags/offers that Morris is getting and don't hold it against him for taking it.

I'd like to believe you're right, though.

I tend to agree.  I don’t give 2 sh!+$ about Morris, but I bet those players would embrace him wholeheartedly.

Rod Brown turned down bags of money to stay and play for North Texas this year.  I imagine Texada could have had his offers, and Duncan, as well.  And Chandler running off even before the bowl game?  I doubt they appreciate that a whole bunch.

Morris only cares about Morris and taking care of Morris, period.

Pretty much all of CFB athletes are like Morris…there are exceptions, but it’s 99% about money and exposure.
