Two years ago we played Boise in the Frisco bowl, last night they played in the CFP.  A lot can happen in two years.  I’m excited for the direction of the program.  Friday can be a step in the right direction.

The comparisons of Boise State to us (an anyone else in G5 really) reminds me of an old Sesame Street song.   Boise is an established brand and accepted by the college football powers that be...and even their CFP appearance this year is unlikely to be repeated because the way seedings are done is being reconsidered as we speak.

I've always wondered how the ref payout is structured for the dongwhores.  Is it a pay per game, or more of a monthly/yearly recurring draft.

As far as I understand it, paid by the game, but receive travel, lodging, food $ etc.

I’m not holding my breath for a CFP appearance, but I believe we have the talent/coaches to have a really good season and maybe even make the AAC Championship Game next season.

It wasn’t targeting and I am not a UT fan by any means.

Oh, and to the Cougar High fan that can’t quit is, Houston is more A&M and LSU than UH.

How many more UNT degrees watched their t-shirt team win today in Atlanta than will attend or watch the bowl game in Dallas? 10x? 100x?

In person? None, bc we all know NT alumni are poor and can’t afford to travel.
