It would be interesting to analyze the 2 deep projection for next year adding this years signees in the mix. Are they all transfers?

How many HS recruits from the last 2 years and this year would you project to crack the 2 deep?

How many HS recruits over the last 2 recruiting classes are still at UNT?

It looks like this year may prove my belief with only 9 signed that recruiting HS is a waste of time.

I’d listen to it!

Regarding HS recruiting, I think it’s still worthwhile if we’re able to find some instant contributors….even if they might leave (Mercer, Gumms, twins).

It also lays the relationship groundwork for future TP movement. But it does feel like the TP is our main way to stay relevant.

Billy did that in the Football thread already. We had plenty of HS players play the last 2 seasons it would take awhile to sit down and navigate all that but would be fun for sure. Before the portal window I sat down along with some help and navigated our contributors. I did not include Special teams, just players that I remembered making contributions Offensive, or Defensively. The amount of young players was astonishing. I included RS Fresh as Soph as far as production as they have had 2 years in college even though I know they have more eligibility than a Soph.
