He entered the portal on the 10th and he posted our offer yesterday…or we waited to offer.  Seems like he’d be a day one back up.  

If he were to come here, would it be another Mooney situation?

Think this is staff trying to balance the QB Room out Have a 1 year starter, plus solid backup, the back up plays Sr Year while Jimmerson is the back up.  Then after a few years to develop Jimmerson is ready to rock.  

 

 I think Jimmerson may win the job as a RS Freshman over this guy.  But it provides you with some solid QB play for competition as well as depth.
