Good lord we’ve dug ourselves a massive hole. Blazers are running us out of the gym. Completely dominating the glass and physicality of the game. Shooting 64% from 3 as well.

Just getting outplayed at every single level

I don't even care that we're losing. UAB has a good roster. I don't think their record accurately portrays how good they could be. What bothers me is being outrebounded 21-10, the 7 turnovers, 9 fouls giving them 16 free throws in a half (they average 21 per game), and not being able to get any consistent offense on the interior. Just a poor performance so far.

This team should never attempt a fast break again.  No one seems to know what to do with the ball.  We also seem terrified of UAB fast break so one of our guys shoots while the rest of team hangs out at half court.  No one is crashing boards and we are small already.

On the bright side, as a fan in attendance, this is excellent emotional preparation for the beatdown coming on Friday.

That is really reaching for a rainbow

UAB 50 ------- NT 40

16:53 to go

Defensive intensity picked up, and Sissoko making a big difference.

It hurt when he got 2 quick fouls early.  One call was terrible and the other was questionable
