They said there were like 30 players in the portal. It was a tough watch and San Antonio keeps on rolling. They’ll be tough next year. Glad we get them in Denton.

Say what you will about Traylor, but that team could have rolled over and died with all the injuries, but they just kept getting stronger as the year went on.  This honestly may have been his best coaching job.

Coastal Carolina got a butt kicking at their own house…geez

Is it really a Bowl game if they can’t even change the 50 yard line logo and end zones?   And that field looked hard as a rock.  I would ask my best players returning to my team to sit out or take limited game snaps.  Tape from this game will bare no difference in appearance than a regular season Coastal Carolina game.  Maybe I tune in late but the attendance looked like it a friends and family only affair.

What a great year for us…SMU goes to the playoff in their first year as an ACC member, UTSA clobbers Coastal Carolina in a bowl game on their home turf in SC, and we go 6-6 and get to play Texas State in a bowl game, which we will most likely lose.

In two weeks ask any "sports fan" (but non-AAC) if UTSA won a Bowl and who did they play.   I doubt you could find one person that correctly knows the answer.

I couldn't tell you what Bowl most of the P2s played in last year either.  Didn't care, still don't.

The whole Bowl era is outdated.

They should just scrape it and go to a larger playoff of 32 teams.

I love bowl week and we finally got a great game in Boise.

What a fun year for NIU. A win over Notre Dame and double overtime win to end the year. They showed some stones on those 2 drives in overtime. Love their style of play. Wish they were a slightly better fit for the American. They are Midwest hearty at our level. A solid G5.

I’ve teetered back and forth about our game, swinging from we’ll get blown out with no Morris, to let’s do this. Get this bowl win in January 2025.

My hope comes from our battle testing. We played some solid teams and played them fair to well. Army was strong when we got them, Tulane was legit until the end, San Antonio got hot when we got them, same with ECU. Memphis was Memphis. We beat the SBC and MWC. I don’t know. The SBC seems a bit shakier in ‘24 and we were grilled all season. We may be just as good as TSU and surprise.

Viva the American.
