No, he was told to get in portal by former coaches for a bigger offer, and those coaches no longer are employed by the bigger school to offer him.

Chased NIL money and had no luck. His old coaches are no longer in a position to offer him. His only offer when he entered the portal was from A&M Commerce.

Certainly changes my tune about him then. He's lucky he still had a home here in Denton. Maybe one day we'll be in a position talent wise to tell guys like that their services are no longer needed and they no longer have a scholarship at UNT.
