Feel free to post the others but I am intrigued by the commits / signees we receive today.  Once they sign they are locked in there is no waiting to see if they get to campus.  It appears our coaches are having them sign once they secure the commitment.  Then posting later on the UNT Football twitter page such as below. This is not the puzzle piece from today just an example of a player who is 100% a UNT Football player as of this post.  EDIT: Ok I am getting antsy, So I am going to expand this to all transfer signees.

I would imagine these are the SHSU transfers but we will see.  These look to be all defensive commits.  I'll be keeping a close ish eye on this today.  Last night I was too enamored watching Jimmerson play QB for North Crowley that kid is the real deal! Reminds me a little bit of Desmon White out of Desoto a few years back.

Ready for them to start posting names.  If I was a betting man I would assume most of these defensive commits are all the Sam Houston players coming with Cassity.

Here we go!! OT Commit 6'6" 320 with 1 year of eligibility left according to his profile coming from Kent State. Appears to have started at Left Tackle for them.

      These players had already chosen to get a free education at a given school when they first committed and they should have factored their degree options/quality into that decision. Now, if after playing for a while, an offer to a BETTER UNIVERSITY (not FB team) for their career is now being offered, then transferring is a valid choice. However, I doubt that is much of a decision factor in the majority of transfers. BTW here's an interesting NCAA site that provides data on graduation, majors, etc. Click on the columns to view different breakdowns, i.e. By Sport. https://www.ncaa.org/sports/2018/5/15/division-i-diploma-dashboard.aspx Also, the NCAA claims that graduation rates have been trending up since the reforms in 2002. While this may be true, I suspect it also has to a lot to do with the general increase in college graduation due to the introduction of numerous less-rigorous majors.       Chris Jimmerson

      He’s a Kyler Murray starter kit and you would think we’d get the most out of him while we have him, which is at QB. But you and I know we can never underestimate North Texas’ ability to F things up. I haven't witnessed overall team speed on a HS team like like I saw on the NC team yesterday since the 1983 Daingerfield Tigers. Westlake beat North Shore twice this year, the second time badly in the semi’s and NC was making it look like child’s play against them yesterday. A very impressive, dominant season by them for sure.
