What a refreshing take from a G5 coach. I appreciate that his attitude is to go do what it takes to be successful here with the current situation. It wasn't a "woe, is me," poor North Texas response like so many of these coaches have been giving.

One thing you can say for Coach Morris - he’s very self and program aware. I really hope the Cassidy hire works out for him. He does seem to be learning and adjusting to the ever evolving FBS landscape.

Over the past couple years since he's got here they have commented more than once that they kept track of this and discussed it with players. The problem is most players believe they will be the exception to the rule and that they are the ones that can make it at the next level.
