Maybe the only positive out of the TP is that it might result in a few young people getting a bit of education regarding the world.  Maybe some will get their eyes opened up as to learn who to trust and not.

I'm sure he had tons of friends telling him to "go get the money".  These leeches are always around and they only want success for the other so they can get in on some of the goodies as well.  The sooner people learn to recognize this, the better.  Pro athletes, musicians, etc. are faced with this all of the time.

Think he had coaches in his ear who are no longer employed by the schools they were at so the offers he thought were coming didn't

Littrell, Blousch, and Clemmons are all collecting buy out money right now.

I'd be shocked if he didn't have bidders who could outbid us.  Maybe not the kind of offers he thought he could get, but decent offers.  Unless whatever injury he had this year was that big a concern going forward.  All-conference AAC is good enough to start at plenty of P2/AP2 schools.  I'd be interested to hear for certain what it was that made him change his mind.

None of us was married to Gabe Blair.  At least, I don't think so?

I'm torn on this, especially not knowing the details.

A young kid having a momentary thought about going to the TP just like MANY others are doing isn't something I like, but it isn't anything like shoplifting, drunk driving, beating your GF, etc.

Now, the real question is, What changed his mind?  If it was due to simply re-evaluation of the decision, that's not bad.  If it's only because he didn't get offers, then that still leaves a question regarding his commitment.

I think I'm okay with anybody that returns, especially after a short stint in the portal and, in this case, having missed the entire year due to injury.

I understand your thought process...but if I say that I am leaving, I am leaving, details do not matter.  the man wanted to leave....yet he is back.   cool...good for him that he will get a good education/degree and play ball, but I do not like it.  he wanted someone else, but they did not want him, so he came back...nah...but whatever....100% tailgating victory, the players do not matter anymore

Hated it when KD Davis entered the portal only to "return"?
